Patrick Stafler works as a senior physician in the pediatric pulmonology department of Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel and acts as director of the lung function laboratory. He also works as senior doctor in Schneider’s busy emergency department.

Patrick graduated from Heinrich Heine Medical School in Düsseldorf, Germany in 1999. In 2000 he presented his doctoral thesis based on research conducted in the field of medical education at Harvard University in Boston. The project was awarded a “magna cum laude” and the Harvard Dean’s Award for Information Technology. He then moved to London where he trained in paediatrics and was appointed member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in 2004.
In 2006, Patrick received a Master’s of Science (MSc) degree in Clinical Pediatrics at the University College London. He completed his specialist training and was awarded dual accreditation in general pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology in 2009. Thereafter he worked as a consultant at the Royal London Hospital and Great Ormond Street/ North Middlesex University Hospital until immigrating to Israel in the summer of 2010.
