Medical Training and Achievements
Prof. Moshe Papa began his career as a military doctor in the field after graduating with honors from Tel Aviv University Medical School in 1978. He specialized in surgery at the Beth Israel Hospital at Harvard University in Boston and at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. In 1991, he joined the Department of Surgical Oncology at the Tel Hashomer Hospital and served as the director of the Surgery Department at the Sheba Medical Center from 2002-2013. In 2007, he became a Professor of Surgery at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Papa is a member of international committees in the field of cancer surgery and breast cancer, as well as a member of the National Council of Oncology.

Prof. Papa performs a wide variety of medical procedures and surgeries such as lumpectomy (including lymph nodes), mastectomy (including lymph nodes), mastectomy with simultaneous reconstruction, intraoperative breast radiation therapy (IntraBeam) and groin and umbilical hernia surgery. Prof. Papa speaks Hebrew and English.
